Nutricana always believes in giving back to the society what it takes from it. Mr. Arun Banka, MD of the company is himself a renowned social worker in and around the areas of Rajpura and is actively involved in charity and social care to many who are in need.
Below is the profile of our CSR activities which we have been involved in over the years.
• 2009 till date: Providing employment to poor and illiterate people of Bhuri Majra villages in our manufacturing facilities as factory labourers.
• 2016 till date: Providing food on a daily basis to all the patients of Civil Hospital, Rajpura to take care of their prime needs.
• 2017 till date: It is a matter of great pity how this Mother Earth has been suffering from issues like global warming, infertility, overexploitation of its resources. Unrestricted cutting of trees continues which leads to increase in the number of floods, fluctuations in climatic conditions, early monsoons and prevalence of deadly diseases. Everybody should replant one tree in their lifetime so that we can avoid the problems like global warming, pollution etc. Nutricana believes in the philosophy of returning to the society what we take from it. For this very reason, we recently planted around 50,000 trees in North India.
• 2017 till date: Nutricana took a pledge to adopt Ghanaur village (Distt. Patiala) for reforming the lives of poor widows and other women by opening a fully set up ‘Stitching Centre’ and giving free classes to learn stitching, thus providing them with the opportunity of being self-employed.
